When Cori Bush talks about jobs, justice and opportunity rather than tear gas and tanks, it's because she worked a dead-end job and watched tanks roll through the streets of her city. She will walk into the U.S. Capitol in 2018 carrying with her the months she spent homeless, the children she raised as a single mother, and the mental health patients she has served who can't afford medication. She will bring with her the assault she suffered while protesting injustice out in the streets with the people.
As establishment strategies continue to fail the people, she fights for a platform to uplift the lives of the extraordinary people she would represent by replacing the incumbent:
- Replacing the school-to-prison pipeline with a school-to-prosperity pipeline
- Medicare for all and truly affordable medication
- Raising the federal minimum wage to $15
- Fighting for workers rights, strong unions, and job training
When she says St. Louis needs new leadership, everyone listening knows she's right - to us, her supporters, it's obvious this leadership should be her. Justice Democrats and Brand New Congress are proud of supporting candidates like her with a positive vision for our future.
Help us spread the message about Cori Bush's mission to bring real change to Missouri District-01 and to America and make some calls!
